Southside Family, I want to encourage you to daily seek the Lord in your times of prayer and study/devotion asking everyone to ask the Lord for His wisdom for our church We as leaders are available to assist our church family at any time. Please, if you have a need, give us a call so we can help our church family. I will be available, so call me at: 270-991-7597
Church Giving- while this is something we may not like to talk about, we do need to address our church offerings. Our church continues to minister on a daily basis and it does take finances to continue the work of the ministry. We too have bills to pay, salaries to sustain and missions to give in support of our missionaries. We want to give you some options: Online Giving- You can go to the church website: southsidebaptistglasgow.weebly.com Find the link that says ‘ONLINE GIVING’ This will guide you through the process to complete your giving. You can mail your tithes/offerings to the church. Address is: Southside Baptist Church, 1163 Trojan Trail, Glasgow, KY. 42141. Drop Off- You can also drop your tithe/offering off to the church office. I will be at the church office from 9:00 am to 12 noon everyday that I can. Or, you can leave your tithe/offering in the small mailbox at the church office. I will check it every day. You can get hold of one of our Deacons and have them come by and get your tithe/offering and they can deliver it to the churchSo, until we meet again, let’s do one more thing.
Let’s look for opportunities to bless others. Bless our church family, bless your neighbors, bless others you come in contact with and most importantly, bless the Lord. Whatever is going on in our world today, it hasn’t caught the Lord off guard, and it hasn’t surprised Him. He knows clearly what is going on and it may be that He is waiting to see what the Church; His Church will do to step up and truly be the Church He has called us to be. Prayerfully, Bro. David
